Northern Region


The Northern Region of the Florida Recreation and Park Association is comprised of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Gulf, Flagler, Jackson, Calhoun, Gadsden, Wakulla, Liberty, Franklin, Leon, Jefferson, Nassau, Taylor, Madison, Hamilton, Suwannee, Lafayette, Dixie, Levy, Gilchrist, Duval, Columbia, Baker, Union, Bradford, Alachua, Marion, Putnam, Clay and St. Johns Counties.

Message from the Region Director

Welcome to the Florida Recreation and Park Association and to the Northern Region. I am Jeff Moffitt, your Region Director, and I look foward to serving you in 2009-2011! Geographically, we are the largest of the four Regions in the state, and our territory covers a large area. This can prove challenging at times, but also compels us to reach out more to our members. Myself and your fellow Region board members are dedicated to serving you and doing whatever it takes to make your membership the best that it can be. Technology is going to play a big part in our future, and I encourage you to keep your eye out on the FRPA website for the latest developments! I also invite and encourage each member to attend a region meeting this year to connect or reconnect with old friends and fellow professionals. The Northern Region will host meetings in Tallahassee, Gainesville and Ponte Vedra over the coming year. I look forward to meeting and serving each one of you and making your membership experience a memorable one!
