Professional Development - General Information

The focus of the Professional Development branch of FRPA is to maintain a high level of professional education opportunities for park, recreation and leisure service agencies across the state. This is accomplished in many ways: providing statewide continuing education opportunities, promoting the National Certification Plan, creating incentives for individuals to become certified and maintain certification as well as promoting and appreciating the diverse populations within the field.

Message from the Vice President Chip Potts, CPRP

As the Vice President of Professional Development it is exciting to be part of a team that has developed such a great vision for our organization.  Part of that vision is to continue providing the quality training and education that our membership desires and has come to expect.  Over the next couple of years I feel that you will recognize the efforts of our committees and staff as they develop and enhance the various educational resources that will continue to keep FRPA members the best trained professionals in our industry.
