Newly forming (or formed) nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for grants in the $5K-$15K range. Grants may be used for a wide range of needs including: basic start-up and operating costs, materials and equipment, technical assistance, training, consultants, community outreach, obtaining 501(c)(3) status, program development, group facilitation, nonprofit management skill-building, and communications. … Through our Matching Awards Program (MAP), non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and state and local governments can apply for funding twice a year.
