| Employee is responsible for performing lifeguarding tasks and enforcing safety rules at a municipal swimming facility. Tasks may include, but not limited to: lifesaving and first aid administration, teaching aquatic programs (swim lessons), organizing special events, beach safety, pool maintenance, and may be responsible for overseeing an aquatic facility during the summer months by monitoring seasonal lifeguards and other assigned personnel. Part-time, year-round position (30 hours per week). Candidate must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned. |

| Qualifications: | |||
| Current American Red Cross, or equivalent, Lifeguarding Certification (Waterfront preferred), CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Water Safety Instructor, First Aid, AED, Oxygen Administration. A valid Florida driver's license is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply. | |||
