| This classification is responsible for children in a structured after school program for youths, ages 5 through 14. Position is responsible for supervising groups of children in recreational activities and assisting with homework assignments. Also responsible for the safety and well-being of the childrens in his/her group and frequent operation of a non-public school bus. | |||
| Qualifications: | |||
| Minimum Education Required: High school graduate/equivalent. Minimum Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year experience in professional child care, recreation, and commercial driving. License/Certification Required: Eight (8) hours of in-service training must be completed annually. Completion of Department of Children and Families (DCF) 40-hour Child Care Training Course, Community CPR, and Safety Certification (or equivalent) within 90 days of hire. NOTE: This position will be subject to Department of Children and Families (DCF) investigations Driving License Required: Valid Florida Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement and School Bus Endorsement or must obtain within ninety (90) days of hire. |
